Lisa Swearingen

Practice Manager

Lisa began working in the optical field in 1984, never imagining she would build such a fulfilling career as an optician. In 1995, she joined Pittsburgh Primary Eyecare (formerly Siegel Eyecare Associates) as an optician, where she has had the pleasure of helping and getting to know generations of patient families. Over the years, Lisa has become a favorite among patients, who often request her by name thanks to her deep knowledge of opticianry and the strong relationships she has built. In 2015, she transitioned into the role of Practice Manager and hasn’t looked back since!

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years and two grandsons, Sawyer and Wyatt. She enjoys going to all of her grandsons’ sporting events, which include soccer, basketball, and baseball. Family time is important to her, and she loves laughing and spending quality time together. Fall is her favorite season because she can enjoy the beautiful fall tree colors while taking long drives.
